Introducing: Tapeface

Today we'd like to introduce all our friends to a very special member of The Notorious K.I.D family. Everyone, meet Tapeface!

Tapeface--that's Tapey to his friends--is about the same age as many of our mini moguls and, just like them, helps us keep things running smoothly here at The Notorious K.I.D Co. headquarters. Tapey has a very special job: he is our official mascot and brand ambassador. That means that he's in charge of spreading the word about The Notorious K.I.D wherever he goes. Since Tapey is into music just like us and loves rocking our t-shirts, he thinks his job is lots of fun.

Tapey the cassette and his big brother, Boomy the boombox, both emerged from the pen of another member of The Notorious K.I.D family, renowned MC and visual artist SKAM2?

We're lucky to count SKAM2? among our friends, because he's a pretty important guy: he designed the iconic album art for A Tribe Called Quest's Beats, Rhymes and Life and Eminem's Slim Shady LP, and has recorded music with the likes of Eminem, Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, M1 of Dead Prez, and Talib Kweli.  His work draws influence from hip hop, skating, comics, and pop culture, so Tapey and Boomy have inherited qualities and characteristics from each.

What else would you like to know about SKAM2? and Tapey?  Leave us a comment below and let us know, and we might just answer your question in our next blog post!
